The espresso martini is an iconic coktail for our times, born in London from a model's need for a pick me up on a night out in Soho, this drink is now a staple in every cocktail bar in the world.
The espresso martini is a drink for the senses; eyecatching (like a tuxedo in a glass), fragrant and, of course, delicious. An espresso martini is more than just a drink, it's an experience.
This cocktail is also incredibly easy to make.
You'll need a cocktail shaker, a strainer and a small sieve to double strain.
The coffee takes center stage in this cocktail, so freshly brewed speciality grade coffee is highly reccomended for the best results. We reccomend using our Sixth Day Espresso. You can view our espresso brew guide here.
- 25ml Simple Syrup
- 50ml Sixth Day Espresso
- 25ml Coffee Liquer
- 50ml Premium Vodka
- Fill your cocktail shaker with ice. Combine all the ingredients in your cocktail shaker, and shake well until chilled.
- Chill your coupe glass and pour through the strainer and sieve. You should have shaken well enough to create a creamy foam on top of the cocktail.
- Drink & enjoy.
